Explain your circumstances in your own words
Begin with what happened, where it happened and the questions you are facing. You do not need to know legal terminology or have a complete file to make an inquiry.
The initial conversation helps identify whether the matter falls within the practice and what additional information may be needed. It is not a promise that the office will accept the case.
Discuss the practical questions
A useful conversation includes the scope of any proposed representation as well as your immediate concerns.
- Who would be responsible for the work and communication.
- What records are needed and how to share them.
- Whether the matter has time-sensitive requirements.
- How fees and costs would be addressed in an engagement agreement.
- What happens before representation is confirmed.
Understand the engagement process
Contacting an attorney does not automatically establish representation. The office must expressly accept the matter and complete the required engagement arrangements.
Until those steps occur, do not assume the office is acting for you or protecting a deadline. If the issue is urgent, contact the office by telephone and explain that concern.
Contact Meszaros Law
Call the Palm Beach Gardens or Montclair office, or email [email protected], with a short, non-confidential description. The website is available in English and Portuguese; ask the office about any language assistance needed for the consultation.
